Could Deebo Samuel be that guy in 2025?

The Washington Commanders have been listed as the favorites to add the versatile wide receiver if he moves on from the 49ers this offseason.

Samuel recently turned 29 and is coming off the least-productive season of his career, but could still be an interesting addition for a Washington team that has suddenly thrust itself among the contenders in the NFC.

The Commanders have plenty of salary cap room and could be in the catbird seat for Samuel if they choose to pursue him.

The receiver-needy Chargers, the Panthers and the Broncos are also listed among the favorites to add Samuel. The Patriots, who also need a lot of help at receiver, round out the top-5.
